Cape Clear Island & Fastnet Rock Excursion

At 10:45 am, we'll meet at the port of Baltimore to board a ferry to the island of Cape Clear. We'll sail through the waters of Roaringwater Bay until we reach the northern harbor of the island. From there, we'll take a bus to the Cape Clear Museum, where you'll learn about its past.

Before returning to the ferry, we'll stop at the 1979 Fastnet Race Disaster Memorial, learning about the history of this tragic event. Afterward, you'll have free time to explore the island, see the Fastnet Rock Lighthouse, and dine at a local restaurant.

Upon returning to the ferry, we'll navigate the landscapes of the Wild Atlantic Way. If we're lucky, we may see whales and dolphins in these waters. Gradually, we'll make our way to Fastnet Rock, home to the largest lighthouse in Ireland.

Finally, we'll return to Baltimore, concluding the excursion at approximately 4:45 pm.
