Cape Clear Island & Fastnet Rock Excursion

At 10:45 am, we'll meet at the port of Baltimore to board a ferry that will take us to the island of Cape Clear.

We'll sail through the waters of Roaringwater Bay until we reach the northern harbor of Cape Clear Island. From there, we'll take a bus to the Cape Clear Museum, where you'll learn about its history.

Next, we will visit the 1979 Fastnet Race Disaster Memorial to learn about this tragic event significant to the area.

You will then have free time to explore the island, see the Fastnet Rock Lighthouse from a different perspective, and dine at a local restaurant.

Upon returning to the ferry, we will journey through the landscapes of the Wild Atlantic Way, with a chance to see whales and dolphins. We will head towards the islet of Fastnet Rock, home to the largest lighthouse in Ireland.

Finally, we will return to Baltimore, concluding the excursion at approximately 4:45 pm.
