Skopje Walking Tour

On this guided tour of Skopje, we'll explore the capital of North Macedonia and its key attractions while uncovering the history behind its monuments.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Macedonia Square to commence the guided tour of Skopje. We will begin by examining the statue that overlooks the square and discussing significant historical moments of the city. Our next destination will be the Mother Teresa Memorial House.

Following that, we will visit the Macedonian Archaeological Museum, known for its extensive collection and stunning facade. The site also offers a panoramic view of the Vardar River and the Stone Bridge.

Next, we will proceed to the Park of the Fighting Woman, located close to the Triumphal Arch. We will also explore Kapan Han and Suli Han, historic inns in the old bazaar.

The tour will culminate at the Skopje Fortress, which dates back to the 6th century and has witnessed many battles throughout the city's history.

After approximately two to two and a half hours of sightseeing, we will conclude back at the starting point. See you next time!
