Ólafsvík Whale Watching

At your chosen time, we'll meet on Norðurtangi Street at the Ólafsvík port. From there, we'll board a boat for a dolphin and whale watching experience around Iceland's coast.

As we set off, we'll navigate the coastline of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and appreciate the scenery, including the 4,700-foot (1,450-metre) high Snæfellsjökull volcano and its glaciers.

Once we've distanced ourselves from the coast, we'll begin to sight whales. Species may vary by season, including humpback, pilot, minke, sperm whales, and killer whales.

We'll observe these animals up close and may hear their songs and vocalizations. Dolphin families may also be spotted, and we will share information about them to enhance your understanding of these marine animals.

During the trip, you'll have the opportunity to photograph Skarðsvík's golden sandy beaches, the city of Keflavík, and the Svörtuloft and Öndverðarnes lighthouses.

After 3 hours of adventure, we'll return to the starting point to conclude the activity.
