Ólafsvík Whale Watching

At your chosen time, we'll meet on Norðurtangi Street at the Ólafsvík port. From there, we'll board a boat for a dolphin and whale watching experience around Iceland's coast.

As we set off, we'll skirt the coastline of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and admire the scenery, including the 4,700-foot (1,450-metre) high Snæfellsjökull volcano and its glaciers.

Once we distance ourselves from the coast, we'll begin spotting whales, including species like humpback, pilot, minke, sperm whales, and even killer whales, depending on the season. We may also observe dolphin families. Participants will learn facts about these animals during the trip.

During the boat trip, you'll have opportunities to take pictures of Skarðsvík's golden sandy beaches, the city of Keflavík, the Svörtuloft and Öndverðarnes lighthouses.

After approximately 3 hours, we'll disembark back at the starting point to conclude the activity.
