Collados del Asón Snowshoeing Tour

Join a snowshoeing tour through the Collados del Asón, a notable natural area in Cantabria. We will gather at the Collados del Asón Natural Park car park at the designated time to discuss the route and equip ourselves with the necessary gear.

Once prepared, we will embark on a snowshoe walk, taking in the snowy landscapes of this mountainous region, which is particularly scenic in winter. The route traverses the valley of the Asón cols, featuring limestone outcrops, small beech, and Cantabrian holm oak forests.

Participants will also see meadows used for livestock farming and large limestone massifs referred to as labyrinths, with insights into their unique names during the journey. The tour concludes after approximately 5 hours, returning to the original meeting point.
