Join us on a fantastic trip to the Lampivaara amethyst mine onboard an electric bike. You will search for your own gemstones and enjoy the winter landscape of Luosto.

Amethyst Mine Electric Bike Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Luosto and provide all necessary equipment for the activity. The three-hour trip involves riding an electric bicycle through snowy landscapes.

We'll head to the Lampivaara amethyst mine, one of Lapland's iconic landmarks. The location offers unforgettable views from the top of the mountain.

While enjoying the spectacular views of Pyhä-Luosto National Park, we'll take a break to sip a hot drink by a warm fire. Next, we will leave the electric bikes and enter the Lampivaara mine to explore the most famous gemstone in Lapland: the amethyst, a violet-colored quartz.

Part of the route through the mine will take us to the excavation area. You will have the chance to dig for amethysts yourself and take home a precious souvenir from your visit.

Finally, we'll return on the bikes to your hotel.
