Join us on a trip to the Lampivaara amethyst mine onboard an electric bike. You will search for your own gemstones and enjoy the winter landscape of Luosto.

Amethyst Mine Electric Bike Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Luosto and provide all necessary equipment. For the three-hour trip, you'll ride an electric bicycle through snowy landscapes.

We'll set off to the Lampivaara amethyst mine, an iconic landmark in Lapland. You will enjoy views from the top of the mountain.

While admiring the landscapes of Pyhä-Luosto National Park, we'll take a break to have a hot drink next to a warm fire. Then, we will leave the electric bikes and head into the Lampivaara mine. Here, we will discover the amethyst, a violet-colored quartz.

Part of the route will take us to the excavation area. You'll have the opportunity to dig for amethysts and take home a souvenir of your visit.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel on the bikes.
