Join us on a trip to the Lampivaara amethyst mine onboard an electric bike. You will search for your own gemstones and enjoy the winter landscape of Luosto.

Amethyst Mine Electric Bike Tour

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Luosto and provide the necessary equipment for this three-hour trip. You'll ride an electric bicycle through the snowy landscapes.

We'll set off towards the Lampivaara amethyst mine, one of Lapland's iconic landmarks. You'll enjoy views from the top of the mountain.

While admiring the landscapes of Pyhä-Luosto National Park, we'll take a break to enjoy a hot drink next to a warm fire. Then, we will leave the electric bikes behind and head into the Lampivaara mine, where we will discover the amethyst, a violet-colored type of quartz.

Part of the route through the mine will lead us to the excavation area. You'll have the opportunity to dig for amethysts and take home a precious souvenir of your visit.

Finally, we'll return to your hotel on the bikes.
