Artic Survival Course

Join us on a fantastic survival course in Pyhä-Luosto National Park during which you will learn how to build a quinzee, the traditional Lapp igloo.

Arctic Survival Course

We'll meet at Amethys store in Luosto at the indicated time before heading to Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Once there, you will take part in a workshop where you learn about arctic nature and the tricks to survive in the Lappish weather.

During the class, you will receive all necessary equipment, including sleeping bags, thermal clothes, arctic mats, and various stove systems. Afterward, we will enjoy a hot meal consisting of sausages, snacks, and homemade bread.

After reenergizing, we continue the course by building a quinzee - a traditional Lappish igloo. Once the snow shelter is built, we will head inside.

After learning to survive in the Arctic for a day, we'll leave Pyhä-Luosto National Park and return to the original starting point after a total of 6 hours.
