Cross-Country Skiing

Participants will meet at the Amethys store in Luosto at their chosen time. The guide provides a brief presentation on the basic techniques for cross-country skiing. Then, the skiing experience begins.

Skis and poles are provided as we enter the snowy expanse of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Skiers may feel a sense of peace and tranquility amidst the winter wilderness.

Cross-country skiing is integral to Finnish culture, with children learning it early. A stop will be made at a campsite to rest and regain strength while enjoying a hot drink by a warm fire.

The activity concludes after two and a half hours, returning to the original starting point.
