Excursion to Lovech & Krushunski Waterfalls
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Sofia at a predetermined time, setting off towards the picturesque north of Bulgaria.
After approximately two hours of travel, we will reach the quintessential medieval town of Lovech, a must-see destination while in Bulgaria. Here, you can stroll through its charming streets and appreciate the historic architecture of this former military center, which faithfully preserves its past.
The journey includes a visit to the Ethnographic Museum, where you will discover insights into Bulgaria's rich culture and history, particularly during its peak in the 14th century.
Next, we will head to the Hisar Fortress, situated atop a hill, providing stunning panoramic views of Lovech. An hour and a half of free time will follow, allowing you to enjoy lunch at your own expense.
Continuing our adventure, we will visit the spectacular Krushunski Waterfalls, noted as one of the most stunning natural attractions in the country. You will embark on a pleasant walk, crossing over 15 bridges while soaking in the scenic landscapes.
After concluding our hike, we will return to the bus and journey back to Sofia, wrapping up this enriching 10-hour tour.
