Plovdiv & Koprivshtitsa Day Tour

Visit Koprivshtitsa and Plovdiv, two of the most famous areas in Bulgaria, and be enchanted by the mix of culture, architecture and tradition that breathes in every corner of both these cities.

Tour Details

We'll pick you up at your selected meeting point. At 8 am, we head to the southeast of Bulgaria, arriving in Plovdiv after about 2 hours. Discover the history and culture shaped by Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and Bulgarian influences reflected in the city’s buildings and monuments.

We'll tour the ancient city, walking through the cobbled streets and seeing the colourful houses. The tour includes the ancient Roman Theatre and the Regional Ethnographic Museum (entrance ticket not included).

Next, we head to Koprivshtitsa, located north of Plovdiv. Our guide will share the city's incredible history and highlight its distinctive houses.

Koprivshtitsa was the site of a significant battle in Bulgaria’s liberation, instilling pride in its citizens as we tour the area.

After a day of culture, we return to Sofia, with arrival at the starting point scheduled for about 11 hours after pickup.
