On this Fimreite boat trip, you'll sail along the waters off the coast of Sogndal, discovering the Fjord of Dreams and an important war scene in Norwegian history.

Fimreite Boat Ride

At the appointed time, we will meet at the pier of Bryggjegota to board a boat that will take us along the coast of Sogndal towards the small village of Fimreite. During the ride, we will admire the views of the Sogndalsfjorden, part of the Fjord of Dreams, characterized by emerald waters and green hills.

While enjoying the fjord, we will learn about the Battle of Fimreite, a significant naval conflict involving nearly 5,000 soldiers in the 12th century, leading to the proclamation of Sverre Sigurdsson as monarch.

Upon reaching Fimreite, we will return to Sogndal. The entire boat ride lasts approximately one hour and forty minutes, concluding at the starting point.
