If there's one unmissable place in the Riviera Maya it's Chichén Itzá. On this day trip, besides visiting the archaeological site, we'll get to see and bathe in the Chichi Kan cenote, a spectacular natural pool.

Description

After hotel pickup in Riviera Maya, we will briefly visit an artisan shop before starting the trip. First, we’ll explore Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988 and one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World as of 2007. A knowledgeable guide will lead us through the site, where we will learn about its history and visit significant temples, including Kukulcan Temple and the Temple of Warriors.

Next, we'll head to the Chichi Kan cenote for a refreshing swim. Following this, a buffet lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. Once we have eaten, we will proceed to the colonial city of Valladolid for a 25-minute scenic tour of the old town, viewing sites such as the church of San Servacio, the Municipal Palace, and the Municipal Market.

Finally, we will return to Riviera Maya, dropping you off at your hotel or meeting point 12 to 13 hours after the initial pickup.
