Tour Details
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Playa del Carmen at the agreed time and set off on a one-and-a-half-hour journey to Coba.
Before reaching our destination, we’ll stop at a small Mayan village nestled in the jungle. Here, you’ll learn about local traditions and customs and the ancient art of Mayan pottery, including crafting your own clay pieces.
Once we arrive in Coba, we’ll embark on a 1-hour-and-45-minute tour through the jungle, exploring the ruins of one of the largest Mayan cities of the classic period. You'll uncover stories about this pre-Columbian civilization.
The tour includes a visit to Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan. We will admire it from the base and learn about its significance. A quick snack will follow before we continue our adventure.
Next, we’ll swim in a sacred cenote and collect the ceramic pieces you crafted. The day concludes with a traditional Mayan dinner by the picturesque Coba lagoon.
After approximately 11 hours of exploring, we’ll return you to your hotel.
