Discover the heavenly beaches of Isla Holbox, located on the north coast of the Yucatan peninsula, known for its beaches and bird diversity.

Day Trip to Isla Holbox

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Riviera Maya and head to the Chiquilá port. Here, we'll board a small boat to Isla Holbox.

Our first stop will be at a beach on the west coast of Holbox, where you'll have 45 minutes of free time to relax.

We will then proceed to Isla Pasión, a small island with pristine beaches and various bird species, offering free time for exploration or relaxation at a viewpoint.

Next, we'll go to Punta Mosquito, an incredible beach accessible only from the sea. Between March and October, we may see pink flamingoes in this area.

We will head to a local beach restaurant for a lunch typical of the region. After lunch, you'll have approximately 1.5 hours to relax on the beach or visit the nearby town of Holbox.

After the day, we will return to the port of Chiquilá and then to your hotel.

Tours on Mondays and Thursdays

If your tour is on a Monday or Thursday, the itinerary will be modified. The tour will be conducted by speedboat, skipping the first swimming stop and heading directly to Isla Pasión for breakfast and one hour of free time.

We’ll make a brief stop at Punta Mosquito before dropping you off in Holbox, where you'll have 3 hours of free time. We will finish by spending an hour at Yalahu Cenote.

This activity lasts approximately eight hours.

Itinerary Adjustments

Due to organisational reasons, the order of activities may change. If the tour is on a day other than Monday or Thursday, the Punta Mosquito visit may be replaced with Isla Pájaros or the Yalahau Cenote.

Flamingo Watching

While pink flamingos are commonly seen between March and October, they live in the wild and are unpredictable.
