Day Trip to Isla Holbox

We will pick you up from your hotel in Riviera Maya in the morning and travel to the Chiquilá port. Here, we will board a small boat for our journey to Isla Holbox.

The first stop will be at a beach on the western coast of Holbox, where you'll have 45 minutes of free time to relax under the sun.

Next, we will head to Isla Pasión, a small island with virgin beaches and various bird species. You will have free time to explore or relax at the viewpoint with views of the island.

Our journey will then continue to Punta Mosquito, a virgin beach accessible only by sea. Between March and October, we may see pink flamingoes that use this area as a breeding ground.

Afterward, we will visit a local restaurant by the beach for a typical lunch.

Following lunch, you will have approximately an hour and a half to relax on the beach or visit the nearby town of Holbox at your leisure.

This day, surrounded by stunning beaches and nature, will conclude with our return to the Chiquilá port after 10 to 12 hours, followed by your transfer back to the hotel.

Itinerary Changes

Please note that the order of visits may vary due to organizational reasons. Depending on weather conditions, it might not be possible to visit Punta Mosquito, and we will instead take you to Isla Pájaros or Cenote Yalahau.

Flamingo Watching

Although large populations of pink flamingos can be seen here from March to October, they are wild and unpredictable.
