Embark on an extraordinary journey with our day excursion to the Las Coloradas Natural Park from Riviera Maya, where you will marvel at the strikingly vibrant lagoons and navigate the serene waters of the Lagartos River.

After picking you up from your hotel in Riviera Maya at the specified time, our adventure begins as we head north towards the Lagartos River Natural Reserve.

Upon arrival, we will board a speedboat to explore the hidden natural wonders along the coasts of the Yucatán Peninsula. As we glide along the Lagartos River, we will traverse mangrove regions, where you can witness the stunning flamingoes that inhabit this area, along with various other bird species.

Our boat ride will take us directly to the breathtaking Las Coloradas complex. The unique composition of salt and microscopic algae in the waters creates stunning hues of yellow, orange, and pink, resulting in a truly enchanting vista.

Before concluding our boat journey, we will pause for a Mayan beauty treatment—an experience you won’t want to miss! Depending on availability, we will also have the opportunity to partake in a walking or biking tour around Las Coloradas to fully appreciate this remarkable setting. We will then return to the speedboat and make our way to an untouched beach where you can unwind on the shore and swim in the crystal-clear waters.

During our time at the beach, a delicious lunch of local fish and seafood will be served at a nearby restaurant. After a delightful day, you will be returned to your hotel, wrapping up this memorable 12 to 13-hour excursion.

This experience includes pickup from downtown hotels in Playa del Carmen. For guests at boutique hotels, Airbnb, private residences, hostels, motels, or places with limited access, we will contact you to arrange an alternate meeting location.

Itinerary Changes

Note that the Las Coloradas bike tour is subject to availability, and may not always be feasible if tourist numbers are high. If this option is unavailable, a walking tour will be conducted instead in the area.
