Las Coloradas + Lagartos River Trip

Discover a unique place on our day trip to the Las Coloradas Natural Park from Riviera Maya. We'll admire the vibrant and colourful lagoons and sail along the Lagartos River.

Description

After hotel pickup in Riviera Maya, we will head north to the Lagartos River Natural Reserve. Here, we will board a speedboat to explore the Yucatán Peninsula's coastal treasures, traveling along the Lagartos River to view mangroves and spot flamingoes and other bird species.

Our boat will then take us to the Las Coloradas complex, known for its visually stunning waters that exhibit shades of yellow, orange, and pink due to high salt concentration and algae. We will make a stop for a Mayan beauty treatment before taking a short tour on foot or by bike around Las Coloradas, depending on availability. We will then head to a pristine beach to relax and swim in the clear water.

On the beach, lunch will consist of local fish and seafood. Finally, you will be dropped off at your hotel after a total duration of 12 to 13 hours.

This tour includes pickup from downtown hotels in Playa del Carmen. For boutique hotels, Airbnb, private homes, hostels, motels, and hotels with difficult access, we will contact you to arrange an alternative meeting point.

Itinerary Changes

The Las Coloradas bike tour is subject to availability. If unavailable due to high tourist volume, a walk will be conducted instead.
