Tulum & Akumal Day Trip + Snorkelling in a Mayan Cenote

On the Tulum Day Trip, participants will explore one of the most preserved archaeological sites in the Riviera Maya. The adventure also includes snorkelling in Akumal Bay, making it a memorable experience.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, the journey begins with a pickup from the designated hotel, followed by a drive to Tulum, a town along the Caribbean Sea renowned for its remarkable archaeological site.

Upon arriving at this scenic location, guests will participate in a 45-minute guided tour of the Mayan ruins, set against the backdrop of a beautiful Caribbean beach, perfect for capturing stunning photos.

The next stop is Akumal Bay, where participants will spend 45 minutes snorkelling in this tropical paradise, famous for its sea turtles.

After snorkelling, the tour continues to the impressive Mayan cenote of XTun, providing a chance to swim in this idyllic setting within the Mexican Caribbean.

Following this unique snorkelling experience, guests will enjoy a delicious Mexican buffet lunch. The menu includes specialties such as pibil-style chicken with rice and beans, chicken fajitas, vegetables, rice, salad, and delightful 'tortitas'.

Finally, the day concludes with a return to the hotel, totaling approximately 8.5 hours.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes pickup from hotels in Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, and Tulum, with times varying by location:

Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya: between 7 am and 8:30 am.Tulum: between 8:30 and 8:50 am.

Important: for guests staying in private residences, hostels, or B&B-style accommodations, pickups will be arranged from those locations or a nearby meeting point.

Note that pickups at hotels in Tulum incur a 10 USD supplement per person to be paid at the destination. Alternatively, participants may choose to meet at Super Aki Tulum at 9 am.
