Discover the Caribbean landscapes of Tulum, an ancient Mayan walled city, along with the grottoes of the Rio Secreto.

Tulum and Rio Secreto Day Trip

Pick up from your hotel in Riviera Maya is at 7 am, followed by a visit to the Mayan archaeological site of Tulum, which overlooks the Caribbean Sea.

At "The Castle," Tulum's prominent structure, observe the advanced Mayan knowledge in architecture and astronomy. This civilization made significant predictions based on the stars' positions. The Tulum astronomical observatory was utilized for stellar studies, and important temples in the area, including the Temple of the Frescoes, showcase period paintings.

Next, visit the natural grottoes of the Rio Secreto, an underground river concealed from view, featuring stalactites and stalagmites formed by water over time. Guided by an expert, you’ll wear helmets and wetsuits to explore the hidden corners of these caves.

The tour returns to hotels in Riviera Maya around 4 pm.
