Tulum & Maya Community Excursion

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your Riviera Maya hotel and drive to Tulum, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the Mexican Caribbean.

Upon arrival at this ancient pre-Columbian enclave, we'll take a guided tour of the Tulum archaeological complex. Over the course of two hours, we'll visit monuments such as the Temples of the Frescoes, where we'll see the carefully decorated stucco walls.

We will continue our tour at the Temple of the Descending God, learning about this deity's history. We'll also stop at El Castillo, the largest monument of the archaeological complex, offering panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.

After the Tulum site visit, we'll head to a Maya community nearby. Community members will teach us about their daily life, customs, and traditions. We will participate in a handmade tortilla workshop!

After the cooking class, you will have an hour of free time to enjoy a refreshing swim in the community cenote, a beautiful spot to take a dip. The experience concludes with our return to your hotel in Riviera Maya, where arrival is scheduled 5.5 to 7 hours after departure.
