Necropolis of Pantalica Tour + Lunch

If you're in the Sicilian town of Sortino, join us for a tour of the necropolis of Pantalica and an olive mill, where you can witness olive oil production and enjoy lunch.

Description

Meet at the scheduled time at the Terra Surti Estate, located on the outskirts of Sortino. From here, we will walk for 1 hour to reach the ancient necropolis of Pantalica, a World Heritage Site with over 5,000 tombs dating from the 13th century BC to the 17 BC. Discover the site's history amidst stunning landscapes featuring a canyon and a flowing stream.

After exploring the necropolis, we will return to the hacienda to learn about olive oil production at the olive mill and taste extra virgin olive oil, a key ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine.

Next, enjoy a Sicilian lunch featuring local specialties such as typical bread, olives, cured cheese, salami, bruschetta with pâté, stuffed pizzolo, ricotta, and honey. Choose between mineral water, white wine, or red wine to accompany your meal.

This 4-hour experience concludes after your meal.
