Necropolis of Pantalica Tour + Lunch

If you're in the Sicilian town of Sortino, join us for a tour of the necropolis of Pantalica and an olive mill, where you can witness the process of olive oil production and enjoy a lunch.

Description

We'll meet at the designated time at the Terra Surti Estate. From this farm on the outskirts of Sicilian town of Sortino, we'll take a 1-hour walk to the necropolis of Pantalica, a World Heritage Site with over 5,000 tombs dating from the 13th century BC to the 17th BC. As we explore, we'll enjoy breathtaking landscapes, including a canyon crossed by a stream.

After visiting the necropolis, we will return to the hacienda to learn about olive oil production at the olive mill and taste this iconic product, an essential part of Mediterranean cuisine.

Following the olive oil tasting, a delicious Sicilian lunch will be served, featuring typical bread, olives, cured cheese, salami, bruschetta with pâté, stuffed pizzolo, ricotta, and honey. Beverage options include mineral water, white wine, or red wine. This 4-hour experience concludes after the meal.
