Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Terra Surti Estate. From this farm, situated on the outskirts of the Sicilian town of Sortino, we'll take a stroll to the necropolis of Pantalica.

As we finish our 1-hour walk, we'll reach this prehistoric site, a World Heritage Site with over 5,000 tombs dating from the 13th century BC to the 17 BC. We will explore its history and landscapes, featuring a canyon with a flowing stream.

After the necropolis visit, we'll return to the hacienda to learn about olive oil production, including a tasting of extra virgin olive oil, which is significant in Mediterranean cuisine.

Next, enjoy a Sicilian lunch featuring typical bread, olives, cured cheese, salami, bruschetta with pâté, stuffed pizzolo, ricotta, and honey. Beverages include mineral water, white wine, or red wine.

We will conclude this 4-hour experience with satisfied appetites.
