Workshop + Tasting Details
The experience will take place at the indicated time at Terra Surti, an oil mill located on the outskirts of Sortino in Sicily. Upon arrival, we'll visit its oil mill to learn how extra virgin olive oil is made, also known as EVO, which has uses beyond food consumption, including soap making.
A soap workshop will be held to teach how to make this hygiene product using olive oil. Participants will understand the process of saponification.
After the workshop, an extra virgin olive oil tasting accompanied by various typical Sicilian products will conclude the experience, which lasts a total of 4 hours.
