Day 1: El Djem – Matmata – Douz

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sousse and start our 2-day trip visiting Tunisia's highlights.

Our first stop will be the El Djem amphitheatre, also known as the Tunisian Coliseum. We'll explore its arena and learn about its historical significance and gladiatorial events.

The tour will continue to Matmata, where we'll visit the famous cave-houses, an Amazigh settlement carved into the rock for shelter from the desert heat. In Matmata, we'll have approximately one hour of free time for lunch (not included).

Next, we will head to the Douz desert, where you can admire the Sahara's beauty and have the opportunity to try a quad or camel ride (not included).

Then, we'll take you to a Douz hotel for dinner and rest overnight.

Day 2: Douz – Chott Djerid – Oasis - Kairouan

In the morning, enjoy breakfast at a local café before visiting Chott El Djerid, a large salt lake known for mirages.

We'll then proceed to the Atlas mountain range and the oasis of Chebika and Tamerza. Our final stop will be the holy city of Kairouan, where we will visit the Great Mosque and learn about its significance in Islam.

The tour concludes with your return to the hotel in Sousse.
