At your chosen time, we will meet at the Azienda del Cavone. From there, we will begin a hiking route to the bauxite mines of Apulia.

You will explore one of the main areas in the National Park of Alta Murgia, learning about the bauxite extraction process, a key economic activity in the region.

The tour features the bright red tones of bauxite minerals against the green of the Aleppo pines and cypress forests. Participants will enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding natural beauty.

As we traverse this landscape, we will also observe the golden wheat fields of the Bradano Valley, leading to the high mountains of the Lucan Apennines.

The hike lasts approximately 3 hours, concluding at the original meeting point.
