If you love history, culture, and archaeology, our Klis & Trogir Day Trip is perfect for you! We'll visit a Roman amphitheatre, explore medieval ruins, and see where Game of Thrones was filmed.

Tour Klis & Trogir

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Split and take a bus to the nearby town of Klis, just half an hour away. Upon arrival, we’ll head to Klis Fortress, a medieval stronghold that has guarded the city since the 16th century.

Klis Fortress offers stunning panoramic views and is known for its role in Game of Thrones, where it transformed into Meereen, a significant city in the Bay of Dragons.

From Klis, we'll take a scenic 40-minute drive along the Dalmatian Coast to the charming town of Trogir.

Once in Trogir, our first stop will be the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, where we’ll enjoy a guided tour of its interior. Following this, you'll have free time to explore the historic center and monuments of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Game of Thrones fans may recognize several buildings as Trogir stood in for Qarth, “the greatest city that ever was or ever will be.”

After our tour, we'll return to your hotel in Split, arriving approximately 4 hours after pickup.
