Plitvice Lakes National Park Tour

After meeting at Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda 21, Split, we will journey inland from the Adriatic Sea to the Lika region.

Upon arrival at Plitvice Lakes National Park, the first stop will be a guided walking tour along wooden walkways connecting 16 lakes, forests, waterfalls, and hills. This protected reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcasing waterfalls cascading into deep blue pools surrounded by green forests.

Next, participants will enjoy a boat ride on the Plitvice Lakes, followed by a ride on an electric train back to the park entrance. An expert guide will share information about the area's biodiversity and local wildlife, including brown bears, wolves, and eagles.

After the tour, there will be a stop in a nearby town for lunch. Following the meal, we will return to Split, concluding the day of exploration.
