Black River & YS Falls Day Trip

Pick-up from your hotel in Runaway Bay will be at 7 am for a journey to the south of the island. The travel time along the north coast of Jamaica to the Black River is two and a half hours.

Upon arrival, a boat will take you along the Black River, which is 53 kilometres long and among the largest in Jamaica. During the cruise, observe the plants and wildlife. Look out for crocodiles. After the boat tour, there will be a stop for a typical Jamaican meal.

A short walk through the tropical forest leads to the YS Falls, where you can enjoy the waterfall cascading into a natural pool. Activities include taking a dip, walking in the surrounding areas, or sunbathing on the rocks.

The trip concludes with a return to your hotel in Runaway Bay at 8 pm.
