Mount Athos Cruise Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Ouranopoli, where the ship will be waiting for us to start our cruise. Once we board the ship, we'll set anchor and set course for Mount Athos. We'll skirt the coast to discover its monasteries.
We'll admire important sites from the water, such as the monasteries of Chilandariou, Dochiarioy, and Xenophontos. On the way back, the boat will stop, and some monks will board to show us some sacred relics.
Next, we'll head towards Alkyles beach on the island of Ammouliani. Here you'll have 2 hours to explore at your leisure. You can rent a hammock, snorkel, or sunbathe. If Alkyles beach is closed, we will visit Ammouliani, the island's capital city instead.
Finally, we'll return to the port of Ouranopoli, arriving 6 hours later.
