Royal Canal Boat Tour

Enjoy a boat trip along the Djurgården canal. You will sail through an island full of parks and forests, enjoying the landscape of one of the greenest areas of Stockholm.

Itinerary

We will depart from the Strömkajen pier and head east, exploring the Royal Canal that crosses the island of Djurgården. This island has belonged to the Royal Family since the fifteenth century and serves as a tranquil, green haven on the edge of the capital. The Royal Canal was constructed in 1834 by the Swedish king to enhance access to various parts of the island.

During the boat trip, you will see one of the most peaceful areas of Stockholm. The audioguides available in 11 languages will provide details about the buildings and monuments along this cruise. Notable sites on the island include parks and museums such as Skansen and Vasa, boat wharfs, and lakes inhabited by herons and owls.

After one hour and 10 minutes of the serene experience, we will return to the Strömkajen pier.
