Christmas Markets Tour

Winter brings a special time for Alsace. We will meet at 9 am in Parc de l'Étoile and commence our tour of the most beautiful Christmas Markets in the region.

The first stop will be Riquewhir, where we will enjoy an hour-and-a-half walking tour of its streets, admiring lights and decorations. The town features Christmas handicraft shops, perfect for finding ornaments to take home.

The aroma of seasonal foods will be enticing. We recommend trying pretzels and "bredele de Noël", special Alsatian gingerbread biscuits.

Next, we will head to Kaysersberg, a city transformed during Christmas. The Kaysersberg Christmas market is open all four Advent weekends on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On weekdays, we will explore the historic center with half-timbered houses and cobblestone streets, while enjoying views of the medieval castle.

At the end of the day, we will return to Strasbourg, arriving around 7:30 pm.
