Description
No trip to Stresa would be complete without taking this boat trip to the Borromean Islands, one of the beautiful parts of Italy's Piedmont region.
This pass gives you unlimited access to the boat for 1 full day. The ferry calls at the three main islands, Isola Madre, Isola Bella, and Isola dei Pescatori; each has individual characteristics. Notable locations include a botanical garden, the Borromeo Palace, and the Bella Island Palace.
The boat ride from Stresa operates as follows: first stop at Isola Madre, second at Isola dei Pescatori, and third at Isola Bella, then returns to Stresa. To travel from Isola dei Pescatori to Isola Madre, return to Stresa and wait for the next boat.
Times & frequency
The tourist boat sails from March to November every day approximately every 30 minutes from 10 am to 6 pm.
Please note:
To visit all three islands, the last departure will be at 1:45 pm.The final departure to Isola Madre is at 2:50 pm.Palaces and gardens of Isola Bella and Isola Madre (entrance fee not included) are open from March 15 to November 5.Timetables are flexible and subject to change.
How it works
With this pass, you can access the boat from Stresa to the Borromean Islands for a whole day and get on and off as many times as you want during the established schedule. The first boarding time must match the one chosen during booking.
Partial closures
As of November 2, the museums and gardens of Isola Bella and Isola Madre will be closed.
