Description
No trip to Stresa would be complete without this boat trip to the Borromean Islands, located in Italy's Piedmont region. This pass provides unlimited access to the boat for 1 full day. The ferry visits three main islands: Isola Madre (Mother Island), Isola Bella (Beautiful Island), and Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen's Island). You can explore attractions such as a large botanical garden, the Borromeo Palace, and the Bella Island Palace. The boat ride departs from Stresa with the sequence: Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori, and Isola Bella, then returns to Stresa. To travel from Isola dei Pescatori to Isola Madre, you must return to Stresa first.
Times & frequency
The tourist boat operates from March to November, sailing daily approximately every 30 minutes between 10 am and 6 pm.
Please note:
To visit all three islands, the last departure is at 1:45 pm.The final ride to Isola Madre is at 2:50 pm.Entry to the palaces and gardens of Isola Bella and Isola Madre (not included in the ticket) is from March 15 to November 5.Timetables are flexible and may be subject to change.
How it works
This pass grants you access to the boat from Stresa to the Borromean Islands for an entire day, allowing multiple entries during the schedule. The initial boarding time must match the choice made at booking.
Partial closures
As of November 2, the museums and gardens of Isla Bella and Isla Madre will be closed.
