Description

The private boat tour of the Borromean Islands departs from the Port of Stresa or any selected pier. You can choose to visit 1, 2, or 3 islands. The excursion lasts from two to seven hours depending on the islands selected.

During the tour, you can get on and off the boat as many times as you want, setting your own itinerary based on the schedule and islands to visit. We will return to the meeting point at the end of the excursion.

What to do in the Borromean Islands?

Welcome to the Borromean Islands, an archipelago in Lake Maggiore consisting of three small islands: Isola Madre, Isola Bella, and Isola dei Pescatori.

On Isola Madre, you can see the Palazzo Borromeo and its botanical garden. On Isola Bella, visit the summer palace of Count Vitaliano VI and its Renaissance garden. Isola dei Pescatori is the only inhabited island; explore its streets and enjoy delicious fish for lunch at a local restaurant if desired.
