Description

Our adventure begins at 6:30 pm, where we’ll convene at Piazza Guglielmo Marconi in Stresa. From this central location, we will head to the boat dock to embark on a voyage across Lake Maggiore, one of Italy’s most picturesque lakes.

The initial segment of our cruise is dedicated to exploring the enchanting coastlines of the Borromean Islands. We will glide past the islet of San Giovanni, enjoy views of the magnificent botanical gardens on Isola Madre, and glimpse the splendid 17th-century palace situated on Isola Bella. Additionally, we'll navigate around Isola dei Pescatori, known as 'Fisherman's Island', capturing stunning photographs along the way!

As we continue, we’ll take in the sights of the refined villas in Baveno and the lush gardens of Verbania. Transitioning from the Piedmont area into Lombardy, we will be captivated by the warm afternoon sun illuminating the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso. This remarkable 14th-century monastery, perched on a cliff, features an impressive 15-meter bell tower.

The boat excursion will wrap up at approximately 7:30 pm, returning us to our original departure point.
