Isola Bella & Isola dei Pescatori Tourist Boat
Visit two of the most emblematic islands of Lake Maggiore. A tourist boat departs from the pier in Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, heading first to Isola Superiore, known as Isola dei Pescatori or 'Fishermen's Island.'
Once arrived, you can stroll through the narrow streets of the old fishing village and visit the Church of San Vittore, a significant monument on the island. There are also numerous bars and restaurants offering local cuisine.
After Isola dei Pescatori, the next stop is Isola Bella, known for its fairytale-like gardens and fountains rather than a traditional village. This island features a Baroque palace built by Charles III Borromeo in honor of his wife Isabella, which you can explore.
The tour concludes back at Stresa, with the option to return to Isola dei Pescatori if desired.

From March to November, the tourist boat departs daily from 10 am - 6 pm. Please note that these timetables may be subject to change.
