If you love flowers and gardening, you can't miss out on the Canberra Floriade Festival, one of Australia’s most famous flower shows. We'll also visit the National Arboretum and other stunning gardens!

Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point and begin a day full of floral beauty. Let's go!

Our first stop will be the National Arboretum, where we'll embark on a 1-hour guided tour of its vast forests. The Arboretum features over 44,000 rare and endangered trees across a 250-hectare area and is popular among tourists.

Inside the Arboretum, we'll explore the National Bonsai and Penjing Collection, which includes 120 exhibits with around 75 trees on display at any given time. This collection was inaugurated on September 28th, 2008.

Next, we'll drive 30 minutes to the Canberra Floriade Festival, where you'll enjoy a 2.5-hour self-guided tour. This annual festival occurs from mid-September to mid-October, showcasing Australia's diverse flora with around 300,000 bulbs distributed to local communities for planting.

After the festival, we'll head to Tulip Top Gardens, a 30-minute drive away, where you'll have an hour to explore the colorful tulip displays.

After 7 hours of exploring Canberra's gardens, we'll return to the starting point.
