Join us for a fascinating wildlife-watching tour from Canberra! Spend an unforgettable afternoon exploring Australian wildlife—an adventure not to be missed!
Description
On the day of the activity, we will collect you from your hotel in Canberra at the scheduled time and begin this exciting tour. Prepare to see Australia's unique animals in their natural habitat.
We will embark on a scenic 30 to 40-minute journey through rural Canberra, heading to the Deep Space Tracking Station at Tidbinbilla for our first stop. Here, we will explore the history of the telescopes that played a crucial role in the Apollo missions and continue to contribute to space exploration.
Next, we will proceed to the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, a sanctuary for iconic wildlife. On a guided tour, we will have the chance to see kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, platypi, colourful parrots, and emus.
Our knowledgeable guides will enhance our wildlife viewing experience with fascinating facts about the animals and their natural surroundings, as well as conservation efforts in the area.
After 4 hours together, we will return to the starting point in Canberra.
