Highlights of Canberra

You will be picked up from your hotel in Canberra. The tour begins at Mount Ainslie Lookout for views of the city's architecture and its development. Next, you will drive around the grounds of the Royal Military College Duntroon, the Australian Army's training centre.

The tour continues at the National Capital Exhibition, followed by a look at Lake Burley Griffin and the Captain Cook Memorial. You will then visit the Museum of Australian Democracy (Old Parliament House) for a guided tour of Australia's political history over the last 50 years.

Next, travel to Capital Hill and New Parliament House, with a tour of its main rooms. A lunch break will be offered at the Queens Terrace Café.

In the afternoon, you will drive through Canberra’s diplomatic district, passing by The Lodge and various embassies. Then, visit the Australian War Memorial for a guided tour and time to explore the galleries. The tour concludes with the Memorial’s Last Post Ceremony, honoring those who served Australia.

After a total of 8 hours, you will return to the starting point.
