Highlights of Canberra
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Canberra. The tour begins at Mount Ainslie Lookout, where you can admire the city's architecture. Following that, we will drive around the Royal Military College Duntroon, the Australian Army's training centre.
Our next stop is the National Capital Exhibition to learn about Canberra's history, followed by a visit to Lake Burley Griffin and the Captain Cook Memorial. We will then proceed to the Museum of Australian Democracy (Old Parliament House) for a guided tour highlighting over 50 years of Australia’s political history.
We will then head to Capital Hill and New Parliament House, where a tour of its main rooms is included. There will be a break for lunch at the Queens Terrace Café.
In the afternoon, we will drive through Canberra’s diplomatic district, passing "The Lodge", the Prime Minister's official residence, and various embassies. A visit to part of the Australian War Memorial follows, including a short guided tour and access to galleries on Australia's role in conflicts. The tour concludes with the Memorial’s Last Post Ceremony, a dedication to those who served.
After a total of 8 hours, we'll return you to the starting point.
