Puka Puka and Tarabuco Day Tour

We'll pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel and head to the indigenous community of Puka Puka, located 65 kilometres from the centre of Sucre.

In this small village, we'll learn about how its inhabitants lived while appreciating the cultural richness of this area of Bolivia. We'll observe their folklore culture through music, dances, and traditional clothing.

We will enjoy a pujllay show, akin to a carnival dance, followed by a typical lunch that includes a starter and a main course with natural drinks.

After lunch, we'll travel to the town of Tarabuco, known for its handicraft market where several indigenous communities gather weekly to display textiles and handmade objects.

We'll explore the various stalls of the Tarabuco market, gaining insight into the area's ancient customs.

To conclude our excursion in rural Bolivia, we'll return to Sucre and drop you off at your hotel at 3:30 pm.
