Puka Puka and Tarabuco Day Tour

We'll pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel and head to the indigenous community of Puka Puka, located 65 kilometres from the centre of Sucre.

In this small village, we’ll learn about the lifestyle of its inhabitants while appreciating the cultural richness of this area of Bolivia. We will observe their folklore culture, including music, dances, and traditional clothing.

To complete the experience, we'll enjoy a pujllay show, similar to a carnival dance. Afterward, we'll have a typical lunch consisting of a starter and a main course with natural drinks.

After lunch, we will go to the town of Tarabuco, known for its handicraft market, where various indigenous communities gather weekly to showcase their textiles and handmade objects.

We'll stroll among the diverse range of stalls of the Tarabuco market to understand the area's ancient customs.

To conclude our excursion of rural Bolivia, we will return to Sucre and drop you off at your hotel at 3:30 pm.
