Sucre City Tour
At 9:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to start this tour of Sucre, also known as the White City of Bolivia.
The tour will begin at the Central Market, where we'll see numerous stalls selling typical products. Then, we'll continue through the neighbourhood of La Recoleta, named after the convent of the same name. This district preserves the old layout of the city of Choquechaca. In this area of Sucre, we'll learn about the city's history, which dates back to colonial times.
Next, we'll visit the Textile Art Museum and then proceed to 25 de Mayo square, home to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a temple that combines Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassical, and Neo-Gothic styles.
Afterwards, we'll take a break for lunch at your leisure to enjoy local food. In the afternoon, we'll visit the terraces of the convent of San Felipe Neri for a panoramic view of Sucre, an ideal conclusion to the tour.
Finally, we'll return you to your hotel, arriving at 4:30 pm.
