Sucre City Tour
At 9:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel to start this tour of Sucre, also known as the White City of Bolivia.
The tour will begin at the Central Market, where we'll see numerous stalls selling typical products. Then, we'll continue through the neighbourhood of La Recoleta, preserving the old layout of the city of Choquechaca. In this area, we'll learn about the city's history, dating back to colonial times.
Next, we'll visit the Textile Art Museum and then head to the 25 de Mayo square, home to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which features a combination of Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassical and Neo-Gothic styles.
Afterwards, we'll take a break for lunch on your own to enjoy local food. In the afternoon, we will visit the terraces of the convent of San Felipe Neri, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Sucre, a fitting conclusion to the visit.
Finally, we'll return you to your hotel, arriving at 4:30 pm.
