Yampara Community Day Trip
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sucre and set off on our 1-hour 30-minute road trip.
On this day trip, we'll visit a Yampara community. The Yampara are one of the most ancient Indigenous Peoples in South America. We'll learn about their customs and how they maintain Bolivian cultural values today.
We'll see the typical adobe houses and meet locals to learn about their way of life and traditions. We’ll hear fascinating legends and stories from this place.
Additionally, we'll visit a chichería, typical bars in these communities. We'll observe the handicrafts made by the Yampara, including woven textiles. During our visit, we'll watch the women create their colorful fabrics and learn about plant-based products used for making natural medicines.
After our visit, we'll return to Sucre and drop you off at your hotel at 2 pm.
