Yampara Community Day Trip
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sucre for a 1-hour 30-minute road trip to a Yampara community, one of the most ancient Indigenous Peoples in South America. During this trip, we will explore their customs, which are deeply rooted in Bolivian culture.
We will visit typical adobe houses and meet locals to learn about their way of life and traditions. Participants will hear fascinating legends and stories from the area.
We will also visit a chichería, a typical bar in these communities, and observe the handicrafts made by the Yampara, particularly their woven textiles. Visitors will witness how women craft colorful fabrics and learn about the use of plant-based products for natural medicines.
The day trip concludes with a return to Sucre, where we will drop you off at your hotel by 2 pm.
