Yamparáez 2-Day Trip
Day 1
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sucre and take you to the village of Yamparáez. After a 1-hour journey, we will arrive in this Bolivian town predominantly inhabited by the Quechua people, who maintain their cultural dress and traditions.
In Yamparáez, we will engage with the community's agricultural practices and the production of handmade textiles. We will meet Daysi, who will welcome us and share her family's daily activities.
We will assist in preparing a typical lunch, featuring a starter, main course, and drink, which we will enjoy together. Following lunch, we'll take a walk through the surrounding hills before returning to the village for dinner and overnight accommodation in Daysi's home.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will spend the morning exploring significant traditions of the community, such as textile arts and music. Residents of Yamparáez create their own instruments from reeds and natural materials, and we will listen to their melodies before having lunch and heading back to Sucre. You will be dropped off at your hotel around 3:30 pm.
