Yamparáez 2-Day Trip
Day 1
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Sucre and take you to the village of Yamparáez. After a 1-hour journey, we will arrive in this Bolivian town where most residents are of Quechua origin, preserving their customs. In Yamparáez, we will learn about the community's agriculture and handmade textile production. We'll meet locals with Daysi, who will share her family's daily routine.
We will assist the family in preparing a typical lunch, which includes a starter, a main course, and a drink. After lunch, we will take a walk through the hills surrounding Yamparáez before returning to the village for dinner and spending the night in Daysi's home.
Day 2
We will have breakfast and spend the morning learning about the community's traditions, including textile arts and music. Residents of Yamparáez play instruments made from reeds and other natural materials. After enjoying the melodies, we will have lunch before returning to Sucre, where you will be dropped off at your hotel around 3:30 pm.
