Yamparáez 2-Day Trip

Day 1

At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Sucre and take you to Yamparáez. After a 1-hour journey, we will arrive in this town predominantly inhabited by residents of Quechua origin who maintain their cultural attire and customs. In Yamparáez, we will learn about local agriculture and the production of handmade textiles. Daysi, a local, will welcome us and share her family's daily routine. We will assist in preparing a typical lunch consisting of a starter, main course, and drink, then share the meal together. After lunch, we will take a walk through the surrounding hills before returning to the village for dinner and spending the night with Daysi's family.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will spend the morning learning about important community traditions, including textile arts and music. The locals use instruments made from reeds and other natural materials to create melodies. Following this, we will have lunch and return to Sucre, arriving back at your hotel around 3:30 pm.
