Lake Suesca Horse Riding Tour

At 9 am, we will meet at the Sisga dam in Chocontá. From there, we'll begin a horseback ride to Lake Suesca. We will start with a briefing on the activity and basic safety rules. After preparation, we will embark on a 35-kilometre (21 miles) ride through the Sisga River valley, passing through potato fields.

We will arrive at a quiet spot by the lake for a picnic lunch. After a rest, we will take a different route back, skirting Lake Suesca until reaching the old northern railway station, which operated until the mid-20th century, located at over 3100 metres (10,170 feet).

We will then descend through the Lechuza Canyon, near Suesca, and stop at a hostel to enjoy a coffee or snack before concluding the activity. The excursion will finish at the meeting point at 5 pm.
