Lake Suesca Horse Riding Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet at the Sisga dam in Chocontá. From there, we'll begin a horseback ride to Lake Suesca. We will provide a briefing on the activity and basic safety rules. After preparation, we'll embark on a 35-kilometre (21 miles) ride through the Sisga River valley, crossing potato fields on our way to Lake Suesca.

Upon reaching a quiet spot by the lake, we will pause for a picnic lunch. After a short rest, we will take a different route back, skirting Lake Suesca until reaching the historic northern railway station, in operation until the mid-20th century, at an altitude of over 3100 metres (10,170 feet).

We will then descend through the Lechuza Canyon, near Suesca, and stop at a cozy hostel for coffee or a snack before concluding the activity. The excursion will end back at the meeting point at 5 pm.
