Description
At the indicated time, we will meet in Phoenix and head along Route 66, a famous road across the USA.
We will venture into the vast Sonoran desert, home to unique plant life, including the majestic Saguaro cactus. As we ascend, the landscape will transform, transitioning from cacti to towering pine trees.
Continuing north on Route 66, we will pass the city of Flagstaff, nestled in the heart of the Sonoran desert, culminating our journey at the Grand Canyon National Park.
Upon arrival at the South Rim, we will have about 3 hours to explore, visit shops, and take in mesmerizing views of the canyon carved by the Colorado River. This area was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 1979.
During our stop, we will enjoy a 45-minute helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon, offering views of the Kaibab National Forest, the Painted Desert, and the convergence of the Colorado and Little Colorado Rivers.
Finally, we will return to Route 66 to head back to Phoenix, concluding the 13-hour excursion.
