On this tour of Suva, we'll visit the most important spots in the Fijian capital, a mix of colonial buildings and modern structures!
Tour of Suva
After picking you up from your selected meeting point in Suva, we'll embark on an immersive sightseeing tour around the capital city. The journey begins with a drive through the city’s suburbs, featuring colonial-style buildings. We'll stop at the Great Council of Chiefs and Parliament House for photos. Here, we will also witness a fire walking show, a sacred tradition of the island. Following this, we will head into town to visit the Museum of Fiji, with stops for photos along the way.
The museum, established in 1904 and now located in Thurston Gardens, showcases significant moments in Fijian history. Exhibits include installations on cannibalism and ancient pottery artifacts. The centerpiece is a 13-meter-long (42-foot) double-hulled canoe.
After our visit, there will be free time to explore local shops and interact with vendors. This is a good opportunity to obtain souvenirs.
After 3 to 4 hours of exploring Suva, we will return to the starting point.
