Tour of Suva
After picking you up from your selected meeting point in Suva, we'll embark on an immersive sightseeing tour around the capital city of Fiji. Our itinerary includes a calm drive through the suburbs, highlighting the colonial-style buildings. We will pause at the Great Council of Chiefs' complex and Parliament House for photos. Additionally, we will witness a fire walking show, a sacred tradition of the island. Following this, we'll visit the Museum of Fiji, making photo stops along the way.
The museum, located in Thurston Gardens, has been in different locations since its founding in 1904. It features exhibits that illustrate significant events in Fijian history, including displays on cannibalism and ancient pottery. The museum's centerpiece is a 13-meter-long (42-foot) double-hulled canoe.
After the museum visit, there will be free time to explore local shops and converse with vendors. Following approximately 3 to 4 hours of exploration in Suva, we will return to the starting point.
