Tour Details

At the specified time, we will meet at the base camp located 46 km (28 miles) from Höfn to begin an offroad tour of Iceland's black sand beaches. This tour will highlight the area's natural beauty.

After a brief introduction, we will board a 4x4 and head to the black sand beaches in Suðurfjörur. We will pass by the ruins of the first local airport and visit the Hvanneyjarviti lighthouse, a great photo opportunity.

The 4x4 tour will proceed to Höfn port, where we will observe seals and enjoy views of the surrounding mountains. We will also explore the area's black sand beaches, showcasing a unique landscape in Iceland.

Before concluding the tour, we will stop at a glacial lagoon near Fláajökull or Heinabergsjökull, home to a herd of reindeer. This will be a memorable experience.

The total duration of the tour is 3 hours, after which we will return to base camp.
