Discover two breathtaking spots on our Falljökull & Fjallsjökull Glaciers Hike & Boat Trip. Experience a hike along a glacier tongue and explore the Vatnajökull National Park.

Falljökull & Fjallsjökull Glaciers Hike & Boat Trip

Join us for a visit to two glaciers in one day! We will meet at Skaftafell at the scheduled time to start our adventure with a hike on the Falljökull Glacier.

After preparing our hiking gear, we will start walking along the glacier tongue. The hike will last 3 hours as we explore the Vatnajökull National Park and view Falljökull, characterized by ice formations, crevasses and crystal-clear pools.

Throughout the hike, we will reveal secrets of this ice giant, including its hidden lava fields, secret mountains, little-explored waterfalls, and nearby fjords.

Next, we will switch our crampons for a small motorboat and embark on a cruise on the lake of the Fjallsjökull Glacier. Participants must travel in their own vehicle to reach the boat dock. The zodiac trip will last 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing us to see the lake's icebergs and listen to the sound of the ice cracking in the peaceful surroundings.

Once the boat trip around the Fjallsjökull Glacier concludes, we will return to the starting point and finish our 5-hour activity.
