Falljökull & Fjallsjökull Glaciers Hike & Boat Trip

We'll meet at Skaftafell at the indicated time to start the day with a hike on the Falljökull Glacier. After preparing our hiking gear, we will begin walking along the glacier tongue for 3 hours. This includes exploring the Vatnajökull National Park and taking in the views of Falljökull, known for its ice formations, crevasses, and crystal-clear pools.

During the hike, we will uncover the glacier's secrets, including hidden lava fields, secret mountains, little-explored waterfalls, and nearby fjords.

Following the hike, we will switch our crampons for a small motorboat and embark on a cruise on the lake of the Fjallsjökull Glacier. Participants must travel in their own vehicle to reach the boat dock. The zodiac trip will last 1 hour 30 minutes, during which we will observe the lake’s icebergs and hear the sounds of ice cracking.

After the boat trip concludes, we will return to the starting point, concluding 5 hours of activity.
