Looking for a unique experience in Iceland? On this snowmobile tour of Vatnajökull, we'll drive over Iceland's largest and Europe's second-largest glacier.

Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at the base camp located 46 km (28 miles) from Höfn to start this snowmobile ride around the Vatnajökull glacier. After a brief safety talk, we'll board the vehicle and explore the snowy landscape of Vatnajökull.

Halfway through the route, we'll make stops to enjoy views of the glacier and the surrounding snow and ice. If you're lucky, you may see the tallest peaks in the east and south of Iceland.

In addition to the thrill of driving a snowmobile, we'll share various stories and facts about the glacier, including its average thickness of 400 meters (1310 feet) and its mass exceeding any other glacier in Europe.

Three hours later, we'll conclude the tour at the initial meeting point. See you soon!
