4x4 Glacier Tour

At the time indicated, we'll meet at base camp about 46 km (28 miles) from Höfn, where we'll start our 4x4 tour of the Vatnajökull and Skalafellsjökull glaciers.

Once settled in our seats, we'll begin our route through the mountains, admiring some of the highest points in Iceland as we scale Skalafellsjökull and Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier.

We'll ascend the Vatnajökull glacier, reaching up to 1000 metres (3,280 feet) above sea level. During the tour, we'll also make a stop for photos.

The guide will provide fascinating facts about the glaciers and their ice fields, highlighting their environmental impact.

After 3 hours, we'll return to the meeting point and conclude this 4x4 tour.
