Vatnajökull + Skalafellsjökull Glacier Offroad Tour

There's no better way to explore Iceland's wilderness than on this offroad tour of the Vatnajökull and Skalafellsjökull glaciers.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the base camp, located about 46 km (28 miles) from Höfn, to commence our offroad tour of the Vatnajökull and Skalafellsjökull glaciers.

Once settled, we will start our route through the mountainous region, scaling Skalafellsjökull and Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier. We will ascend up to 1000 metres (3,280 feet) above sea level during our travel on the Vatnajökull glacier. A stop for photographs will be included.

The guide will provide insights about the glaciers and their ice fields, discussing their impact on the environment.

After 3 hours, we'll return to the meeting point to conclude the 4x4 tour.
