Immerse yourself in the dance of the aurora borealis on this northern lights tour in Gimsøya. We'll navigate the Lofoten Islands and capture the best pictures of this natural phenomenon.

Northern Lights Photography Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Svolvær at 8:30 pm and head towards the island of Gimsøya, in the western part of the Lofoten Islands archipelago.

After approximately 40 minutes of driving, we'll arrive at the first stop on this photography tour, Gimsøy Kirke, ideal for experiencing the Northern Lights for the first time. We'll share tips to capture the display of lights across the night sky.

We'll make stops at various beaches and viewpoints in Gimsøya where you'll enjoy the aurora borealis from different perspectives.

During the final stretch, we'll head south to cross the Gimsøya bridge to Lyngvær, our final observation point. Here, we'll observe the Northern Lights and learn about the science behind them before returning.

We will return to your hotel in Svolvær at about 1:30 am with captured memories of the tour.
