Immerse yourself in the bewitching dance of the aurora borealis on this northern lights tour in Gimsøya. We'll navigate the Lofoten Islands and capture the best pictures of this stunning natural phenomenon.

Northern Lights Photography Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Svolvær at 8:30 pm and head towards the island of Gimsøya, in the western part of the Lofoten Islands archipelago.

After approximately 40 minutes of driving, we'll arrive at our first stop, Gimsøy Kirke, ideal for experiencing the Northern Lights. We'll share tips to capture the lights across the Nordic night sky on camera.

The tour continues through Gimsøya, stopping at various beaches and viewpoints for different perspectives of the aurora borealis.

In the final stretch, we'll head south to cross the Gimsøya bridge to reach Lyngvær, our last observation point. Here, we will continue to appreciate the Northern Lights and learn about the science behind them before returning to the starting point.

We will conclude the tour back at your hotel in Svolvær at approximately 1:30 am.
