Northern Lights Photography Tour

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Svolvær at 8:30 pm, followed by a scenic drive towards Gimsøya, located in the western part of the Lofoten Islands archipelago.

After roughly 40 minutes on the road, we will reach our first destination, Gimsøy Kirke. This location is ideal for witnessing the Northern Lights for the first time. Here, we will look to the skies and share expert techniques to help you photograph the mesmerizing display of lights illuminating the night.

Continuing our adventure through Gimsøya, we will make various stops at scenic beaches and viewpoints, offering you multiple opportunities to admire the breathtaking aurora borealis from unique angles.

As we approach the final leg of our excursion, we will journey south to traverse the Gimsøya bridge, which connects us to Lyngvær, our last vantage point. Here, you can continue to be in awe of the stunning Northern Lights while discovering the science behind this phenomenon before we return to the starting location.

With joy and an array of stunning photos to cherish, we will conclude the tour and return you to your hotel in Svolvær at approximately 1:30 am.
