Immerse yourself in the dance of the aurora borealis on this northern lights tour in Gimsøya. We'll navigate the Lofoten Islands and capture the best pictures of this natural phenomenon.

Northern Lights Photography Tour

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Svolvær at 8:30 pm and head towards the island of Gimsøya, located in the western part of the Lofoten Islands archipelago.

After approximately 40 minutes of driving, we'll arrive at the first stop, Gimsøy Kirke, an ideal location to experience the Northern Lights. We'll provide insights to capture the hypnotic dance of lights across the Nordic night sky on camera.

We'll continue through Gimsøya making stops at various beaches and viewpoints where you'll be able to enjoy the aurora borealis from different perspectives.

During the final stretch, we'll head south across the Gimsøya bridge to Lyngvær, our final observation point. Here, we'll marvel at the Northern Lights and learn about the science behind them before returning to the starting point.

We will conclude the tour back at your hotel in Svolvær at about 1:30 am.
