At the scheduled time we'll meet at the Sydney Opera House entrance to begin the guided tour inside this iconic Australian building, founded in 1972.

We'll spend an hour touring the elegant rooms while learning about its architecture - it was built with pre-fabricated shell tiles. The enclosure covers an area of almost two hectares and the structure rests on 580 pillars.

You'll see the concert halls, where operas and ballet performances have been held. The visit includes seeing the largest instrument in the world: an organ with more than 10,000 pipes.

We'll explain the significance of the Sydney Opera House in relation to world theatres. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was a contender for one of the new seven wonders of the world.
