Balinese Wedding Ceremony
After being picked up from your hotel at 2 pm, you'll be taken to Kemenuh, a traditional Bali town near Ubud, for your wedding. The ceremony begins with a purification ceremony, where the bride and groom are cleansed with water from sacred springs to remove negative energies before uniting in matrimony.
The ceremony will take place in a typical Balinese house, where you'll be welcomed with tea and coffee. You will be dressed in traditional wedding attire known as Payas Agung.
A Balinese priest will perform the wedding rites, attended by individuals in traditional dress. Following various symbolic rituals and offerings, you will cut a thread representing the transition to married life.
Concluding the ceremony, you will be carried on thrones in a procession to a family temple for personal prayers.
After the traditional rituals, a romantic meal featuring chicken, vegetables, and rice will be served, accompanied by a bottle of local wine.
A photographer will document your day, providing an album to remember the ceremony, while typical Balinese musicians perform traditional songs throughout the event.
You will be dropped off at your hotel around 9 pm.
