The tour begins with hotel pickup at the designated time, starting the cultural road trip from Batubulan to Kintamani. Your first stop is Batubulan for a performance of Barong and Kris, a traditional dance-drama depicting the struggle between good and evil, showcasing Balinese creativity and spirituality.
Next, visit a typical home in Singapadu, then proceed to Bedulu to explore Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), a 9th-century temple significant for its Hindu and Buddhist symbols. Enjoy the scenic tropical landscape, including the sloping rice terraces in Tegalalang, recognized for their ancient sustainable water management system.
In Sebatu, visit the Pura Tirta Empul, a water temple adjacent to a holy spring where Balinese Hindus perform purification rituals. The tour continues past coffee and mandarin orange plantations to Kintamani, located above 4,500 ft (1,400 m), offering panoramic views of Mount Batur, an active volcano, and Lake Batur.
